I have a very low immune system – I’m also low on iron and haemoglobin. \u00a0I catch almost everything – from colds to flus, from skin infection, sinusitis and tonsillitis to nasty and very painful coldsores which take weeks to heal. Enough to say – I am ill most of the time. Well..enough. I feel like going to doctors is pointless as I’m gonna get mainly antibiotics or something chemical to suppress the symptoms but not to address the cause. To get rid of my nasty cold that has been making me feel really unwell for three days now, I made myself an onion syrup. One, big sweet onion and a few heap spoons of honey (not sugar) should do the work. It’s best after a few days, but it’s also more or less ready just after a few hours when onions start releasing the healing juices. All you need is to chop one onion, add for heap spoons of sugar put it all into a jar, close the lid and wait for a few hours. It’s best after a few days but you can drink it as soon as onions release the juice.<\/p>\n
